Best Dog Bed Ever!

I recently got the Taart bed from the Lambwolf Collective for my two small dogs to try it out for the Bits and Paws store. I have bought many beds over the years and never put a lot of thought into the diversity of the bed because my dogs always seemed to just jump into it. However, I was drawn to this bed because during the summer my Shih-tzu cross overheats easily and I liked that the nylon fabric would have a cooling element for her. Having it be reversible (so I didn't have to buy or store another bed just for summer) was a huge bonus.

When I first unwrapped the bed, I was immediately impressed with the quality of materials. The sherpa fleece is very cozy, perfect for cold temps or those chihuahuas who never seem to warm up. The bed provides perfect little places  in the edge for those tiny dogs (the company says up to 18 lbs) to burrow down into. 

The nylon side provides a cooling fabric for summer. While I haven't tested it yet (it's still chilly here!) it seems like it will definitely be cooler than most beds in the summer. 

When you go to reverse it, it's super easy. It also has a securing band that locks either side down so it stays reversed.

There's even a way to make it a "burrow den" where it's like a tube that a lot of chihuahuas love to snuggle down into- you just unroll the entire bed so it isn't folded over at all. I'm not sure that Lambwolf Collective planned this as a potential way to use it, but I know some of my chihuahuas would have loved this feature.

The bottom of the bed is filled with small beans that make it mold to your dog's body, which is a great way to provide relief to achy joints.

I highly recommend this bed to all small dog owners, especially if you have a dog that struggles with temperature regulation. The only caveat is that if you have a blind dog who struggles with maneuvering, the sides are a bit higher, however, this a plus for those dogs, especially if you need to transport them.
