You can bury the treats deeper for a dog who is more experienced, and leave them on top (or fairly shallow) for dogs new to enrichment activities.
This is a VERY high quality snuffle mat- very sturdy and well made, with high quality fleece and a rubber backing. This is not your typical snuffle mat!
